The reality, unfortunately, is that human nature has stayed the same throughout history. We have not changed even though we have had enlightened periods. History always repeats, no matter the technology or enlightened advancement. Human nature always becomes the default road we go down.
The present danger is that technology has become deadly in many applications, and the political leadership of the world does not have the same moral sense that Mr Musk has displayed.
Musk is right to be concerned. Demographic collapse is indeed happening. It won't be easily restored, & that's a thing requiring generations. That's ground zero of civilizational decline, a decline in the raw numbers. But it also of course is a values thing, which reaches a critical mass of vice & negative emotions being normalized, with over-reaction becoming routine as well. This is as though propaganda literally replaces rational thought & infects most discourse. In such a context decline becomes expected, & that's fulfilled, generation after generation.

I wish I could feel something about his having been harassed for an hour
however, given what he has done, and continues to do will not allow that.
I joined Twitter in 2005 and was HARASSED the entire time
First by Dorsey (first suspension was for 12 hours for merely stating "While truth has no fear,
censorship is ripe with it). I was also
shadowbanned deeply (Twitter stats continually reflected in any 28 day period I had as
many as 178K impressions
During that time never saw more than a handful of replies on any tweet
Then Agrawal took the helm and I was permanently suspended, in addition to numerous
suspensions and deep shadowbanned like Dorsey.
The suspension was for merely stating that I had opted for an alternative protocol to the jab
That was in June of '22
In March of '23 Musk reinstated me
NOTHING had changed on my part. I had never used vile, vulgar or profane language in any
tweet nor did I threaten or advocate violence. What I did so was speak TRUTH
I had 15.9K followers at that time

Whatever people believe his underlying motivations are, you can’t deny that Elon Musk comes across as a very charismatic humanitarian.
