I think you've misread the Old Testament. First, according to the account of Hebrews, Abraham was their forefather who received a promise of a nation ruled by God. Secondly, God promised an area called the promised land. Third, God rescued his people from Egypt and led them to the promised land. Fourth, God evicted nations' occupation of said land and protected the chosen people from attackers. Of course, the Hebrews had to agree and continue to obey some laws outlined to them early in their trek to the new land and while living in it. The Hebrews had some big problems in that area.
Now justice. Who's justice was the account of the Hebrews referring to? You think it was the squatting nations. But, the account was referring to the Hebrews. It told the story of God fighting for his chosen people, protecting them. You can believe the Old Testament or not; that's not my argument.
The problem you are facing is a common one. You are using today's standards to judge historical events of thousands of years ago. To understand history, you MUST understand the thinking and the society of the time.

It would be the article I have shared the most. It is intelligence and ammunition in today's fight against the Abusers. They have studied what they are doing and have been doing and done nothing about it. More proof of dereliction, wilful negligence and misfeasance, a failure to act when under an obligation to do so; a refusal (without sufficient excuse) to do that which it is their legal duty to do.
We had already non schooled / student directed learning two children, before we saw this article and the Ted talk it is linked to by Sir Ken Robinson. Both those children turned out capable , responsible and loving.

The reality, unfortunately, is that human nature has stayed the same throughout history. We have not changed even though we have had enlightened periods. History always repeats, no matter the technology or enlightened advancement. Human nature always becomes the default road we go down.
The present danger is that technology has become deadly in many applications, and the political leadership of the world does not have the same moral sense that Mr Musk has displayed.
The Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible best describes human nature, summarizing that history repeats itself, man's nature is rotten, and we should turn towards God.
That is a Christian view of human nature, and has no place in Jewish thinking.
When I read the bible, in particular the Old Testament, I certainly don't get the impression that God/Yahweh is any less rotten (and arguably is a lot more so) than man's nature.(*)

It depends on how you define justice. That is what Plato struggled with when he wrote The Republic.
That is an inevitable consequence of being human, and arbitrating over the world but furnished with only finite and imperfect knowledge.
But imperfect as it may be, it beggars belief that the petty, insecure Yahweh of the Old Testament exhibits perfect judgement and serves perfect justice, or even justice superior to that of his own imperfect creation's.
Incidentally, the human world operates very much, if not exactly the kind of justice the Old Testament Yahweh demonstrates - perhaps because the Old Testament authors project their own (im)morality onto their ideation of Yahweh?
I think you've misread the Old Testament. First, according to the account of Hebrews, Abraham was their forefather who received a promise of a nation ruled by God. Secondly, God promised an area called the promised land. Third, God rescued his people from Egypt and led them to the promised land. Fourth, God evicted nations' occupation of said land and protected the chosen people from attackers. Of course, the Hebrews had to agree and continue to obey some laws outlined to them early in their trek to the new land and while living in it. The Hebrews had some big problems in that area.
Now justice. Who's justice was the account of the Hebrews referring to? You think it was the squatting nations. But, the account was referring to the Hebrews. It told the story of God fighting for his chosen people, protecting them. You can believe the Old Testament or not; that's not my argument.
The problem you are facing is a common one. You are using today's standards to judge historical events of thousands of years ago. To understand history, you MUST understand the thinking and the society of the time.
And the problem you are facing is a common one, too. You are conflating religious narrative with historical fact.
Otherwise cogently-argued, but for that devastating flaw.
Musk is right to be concerned. Demographic collapse is indeed happening. It won't be easily restored, & that's a thing requiring generations. That's ground zero of civilizational decline, a decline in the raw numbers. But it also of course is a values thing, which reaches a critical mass of vice & negative emotions being normalized, with over-reaction becoming routine as well. This is as though propaganda literally replaces rational thought & infects most discourse. In such a context decline becomes expected, & that's fulfilled, generation after generation.
Musk is being perhaps naive to think something so pervasive, something fallen into gradually & then to some extent locked in, can be reversed. But he's right to try, absolutely. Big changes always have small beginnings.
Elon is interesting, I'll give him that. But stop with the brain chips and neurolinks! How is that good for civilization? And Don Lemon is such a tool. It's off-putting Elon sat down with him.
