just think how much better the world would be if they could use this technology for good purposes, like finding and arresting pedophiles, sex traffickers, drug dealers, suicidal indivduals that are thinking of committing mass murder, etc.
How to turn off cam and mic on Android quickly without downloading anything
Go to Settings, About Phone, and I think Software (my OS doesn't have this step necessary), keep clicking on Build Number until you've unlocked Developer Options which may be a new tab in About Phone, or else under the System tab, or else in the main settings menu.
Go to Developer Options and scroll down a little until you get to Quick Settings Developer Tiles.
Turn on "Sensors off".
Go to Home screen and scroll down from top to open the quick tiles menu. Look for an icon that looks like a heartbeat graph. When you click it it turns off all phone sensors, cam, mic, GPS, all of them.
You can turn it off during a phone call so you can then be heard through the mic, need to turn it off to take pics, etc.
There not harvesting my data, because every website I go to before opening if Google or chrome is a third party my computer tells me and I don't open that site. You can do the same use DuckDuckGo.
Brave is also a great web browser and search engine. It was founded by an ex-Google engineer who became concerned about their approach to privacy. Brave is recommended by privacy expert Robert Epstein.
