They actually put me through a pain Management training session to teach me how to live with my pain myself before they tried anything else like brain surgery. They even get people off their narcotics and they do teach really great techniques you can do on your own, and they teach family members and caregivers as well. It's actually a really good program to try to get chronic pain sufferers out of the medical system. When that didn't work to the degree we all wanted, they gave me surgery that was an implant in my brain. I had that in 2011, and I went back every 6 months for 3 years. Since then I haven't been back. I didn't say I was actively their patient anymore, but they get any records my current doctors provide because of the implant, in case of any changes, they are alerted if it may affect the device. Most of these are ransomware attacks that sell medical records on the dark web. The Hearst corporation manages more U.S. health care data, I believe, than any other entity, and in 2021 had the largest-to-date breach of health care records. When you have large, centralized, cloud-based EHRs with high-value assets like personal info and SS numbers, breaches are a question of when, not if. The only penalty to companies for cybersecurity breaches is a slap-on-the-wrist fine. The Mayo clinic openly discusses their plans. Can you imagine the current and future incentives for big companies to openly or secretly sell your health care record to Big Tech, or Big Pharma? Data is the new oil. Think hard about whether who you trust with your sensitive personal information and SS number. Think twice about the illusion of privacy.
Agree there is no privacy. Tyranny is very well organized. If we have records they are already stored on massive server farms, managed and shared by the Cloud architects and managers. We can try to further restrict our information but it won’t serve much purpose to stop the current situation.
What an absurdity: how can you *cure* or even treat something that hasn't happened yet and may never happen?! By their very definitions, "cure" (BTW, a term most appropriately applied to ham and other deli meats) and "treat" are terms that only apply to an *existing* disease. They refer to corrective or remedial actions. Prevention and prophylaxis are the terms used for actions intended to stop a disease from happening when there is a legitimate risk.

Mmm ... yeah, I keep coming back to statins, the drug prescribed for so-called high cholesterol, and which causes a whole host of nasty side effects. You might be perfectly healthy in all other respects, but because some doctor flagged a blood test that shows your LDL and triglycerides to be high and your HDL to be low, you must take a statin immediately and for life. A little research shows you that the whole cholesterol thing is but one of the biggest scams to come down the pike. I say no to that and HELL NO to this egregious HIPAA violation.

I live in France and when the Vaccine Passport was required for basically everything except essentials I refused it. Yes it is an infringement of privacy. I would no more ask a stranger if they had had a mammogram or a prostrate exam so why should I share my vaccination status? Fortunately the Pass has fallen into the background, at least for the present, but the French health system is linked to one's bank account so to integrate more surveillance via its use would be simple. My advise, don't go near the Mayo Clinic and tell them. Hurt them in their pockets. There are other medical establishments if you need one.
