He picked poorly. This will impede his positioning as an independent and moderate. I know a few of his supporters ( I was close, but no cigar) and none are happy with this choice to be next in line for the Presidency. The only way this can be read as a good choice is in comparison to the hideous Kamala.

Ditto. I was hoping he would hang tough and break the system , but without money, there is no way to catch a break. He tried.

He blew it big time. All he had to do is reach across the political aisle. Lots of well qualified young conservative Republicans to show his desire to be a president for all Americans. What he just did is go for only the liberal elites who can’t stand Biden because they see the corruption and incompetence with their own eyes but refuse to get out of their MSM bubbles to realize the truth and therefore can not vote for Trump.

Expand full comment

He blew it big time, long ago. I personally do not believe he ever had any intention of running for office until his popularity literally soared during Covid. I believe his Hollywood wife realized what he'd tapped into and then coerced him into running.

Reason being was his entire demeanor changed. The three most popular words used to describe him were genuine, honest and sincere. Everything you read, people were all using the same exact words to portray him. Hence why he resonated and his popularity skyrocketed.

Kucinich was a GREAT pick to run his campaign and he should've picked HIM for his VP! But something went sour and they parted ways. Most likely the very same things I saw. The work-out video was an atrocity and embarrassment, just who exactly was he pandering to?

He already had a substantial constituency which this deeply offended. Exactly what we needed another philandering Kennedy in the WH. Seriously - the man is 70 years old - you just know it was the wife's idea. The tight shirts - the walks in the woods, again showing off his physique. The world is on fire and this guy is showing off his pecks? It sickened and repulsed me that he started believing his own press.

He really had it all - his message resonated with everyone and he all the experience required to actually pull it off and implement it. NO ONE knows more about politics and what goes on in Washington than the Kennedy's. He knew all the agencies inside and out because he had sued them and won. He talked about ending and abolishing the corruption saying it wasn't the entire alphabet agencies but rather then ten percent at the top that needed to go! He even named names! He talked about closing the 800 bases throughout the world and bringing the personnel home to protect our Country and boarders instead. He talked about the dangers of vaccines and had the facts to back it up. His message was spot on and then he got nutty . . . . his stance on Israel could not possibly be more wrong so you knew he was now bought and paid for the the Israel lobby. He always said prove that he is wrong about what he says and he will gladly change his stance. Everyone came out of the woodwork to explain why he was so wrong and yet he remained steadfast! When he came out and said the Palestinian's were the most pampered people in the world - you truly began to question his sanity or wonder if he was deliberately sabotaging his own campaign. But when he compounded matters and then said "the Palestinian's had no right to defend themselves" after 75 years of occupation he sealed his fate and you knew he had been bought off or paid to throw the election. I would pay good money to find out exactly why Kucinich quit the campaign because there lies the truth, about everything. He really really had it made until he blew it BIG TIME! He's also extremely uxorious and insecure which is a trait amongst addicts and therefore could and never will be a leader. Had he stayed on message and picked Kucinich as he VP he would be the next POTUS Even if they eliminated yet another Kennedy Kucinich would've been awesome to implement everything he had spoken about!

If you think about it that knowledge is key to RFK Jr being taken seriously by Democrats and the rest of the country: both main stream press and the internet giants have essentially blockaded him up to this point. And it gives him the ability to get on the ticket. It's a smarter move than most people can fathom..after all a pretty, youngish, white woman? I disagree with most of the comments all saying she is a bad choice.

We don't know yet how she will fair, but here is my take:

1) She has seen the inside of Google and the corrupt left.

2) She knows her way around the law.

3) She is attractive (some people only vote on looks).

4) She understands the corruption behind vaccines first hand.

5) She isn't just a pretty face, but active and stands on her own.

6) I would rate her above any of the other VPs now or previous candidates.

RFK has my vote. Trump is controlled opposition installed by the DNC so they can chase him continually with baseless accusations. Biden is a moron and/or corrupt beyond belief. The only way not to have more of the exact same (There is no way they will let Trump beat Biden or any DNC and the vote no longer has chain of custody), is to vote for RFK Jr.

Deeply spiritual? This is the guy who has the CHILDREN'S DEFENSE Platform. I used to admire him until he said he is for abortion-up-to-birth of innocent DEFENSELESS unborn babies (aka children). Supposedly, this is about "bodily autonomy" for their mothers, but the babies don't get any "bodily autonomy? (just torture and death). He is no different than all his Democrat predecessors and contemporaries. There is not one of them that can think outside this box. They are all lemmings, promoting death for the unborn and licking their chops as they grin while signing "laws" to enforce their genocide. Anyone who would seriously consider voting for them is no different from all the folks who ignored the genocide of the 1930s and 1940s in Europe.

Expand full comment

Oh really? Did you know genocide continues? Are you aware of who funds most of it and also who profits?

Are you aware that an acorn is not an oak tree? Are you aware that most religious and spiritual people believe God breaths life into the newborn to begin life at first breath?

Actually, am i wasting my time with an algorithmic machine?

Expand full comment

I am not a machine. Yes, of course, genocide continues, even to this day. Yes, I know who funds it and who profits. Do you know who profits from the genocide of the unborn? Are you aware that human life begins at conception? We actually have photographs of this. Are you aware that Scripture says that God said, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you" ?? We (all of us, even you) began our lives at conception, and we were very alive long before our actual debut (births) into the world. If you believe you are wasting your time, you can always withdraw from a serious conversation.

“most religious and spiritual people believe God breaths life into the newborn to begin life at first breath.”

Wrong. No, most do not. Most Christians believe God when He said “the babe lept in the womb,” referring to Elizabeth’s son John, meaning God Himself acknowledged that an unborn baby is still a baby. Most Christians (I can’t speak for other religions) believe that abortion is murder because the baby is just on temporary life support that is removed at birth. That’s a baby, not a “clump of cells” that the radical political groups use to justify abortion.

Expand full comment

Hmm, why do you care? You sound like you are firmly planted in the right and support Trump. So this should be a good move for Trump, or not?

You smearing Kennedy doesn't make any logical sense which tells me, that you are possibly a paid professional disrupter to take Kennedy down.

As they did with deSantis.

Expand full comment

I am trying not to laugh. So, you think that caring about the genocide of innocent DEFENSELESS babies (without any anesthesia, I might add) makes me pro-Trump and a "professional disruptor"? What kind of (lack of) logic is that? I am not "smearing" Kennedy. I am reporting exactly what he says. If he is smeared, he is smearing himself. How can he purport to be for the DEFENSE of CHILDREN and advocate for the butchering of DEFENSELESS babies? That is the height of hypocrisy. It has nothing to do with Trump or "the right". It has everything to do with what IS RIGHT, FAIR and JUST. We would not treat our pets so inhumanely as he would suggest we treat our unborn babies.

Expand full comment

RFK had never once said he is for abortion until birth. That is a completely lie. Only radical left wing toxic human beings would condone abortion all the way up until birth. RFK has said time and time again that there is a deadline on abortions.

Expand full comment

As Christians, we see things very much the same Stef. As many have said, Kennedy needs to double down on his position on the vax as it’s harmed and killed many. That’s his platform. Kudos to him on that. A lot of Christians, however, have a problem with his stance on other traditional anti-Christian political stances like abortion. Some radical (democrats or psychopaths?) have even advocated for after-birth abortion/murder. Even Trump has advocated for later term abortion. He supports gay rights. Even Trump is more of a moderate than some other Republicans. It’s the lesser of evils.

I don’t support hardly anything Biden stands for. Support more of RFKs issues, and even more of Trump’s. It all comes down to the policies and issues. Trump ain’t perfect but he’s got more right than wrong.

I think it's a fabulous choice. She leans more left than I would typically choose. But I think this is a super smart choice. I don't align with all of her positions. Nor do I align with all of JFK's. But I have NO faith in the UNI PARTY. Yes, the populist arm of the Republican Party is trying to break free...but there is SO MUCH entrenchment and corruption in both parties, I don't think the change we need can come from within either of these parties. People should realize that merely pointing out a candidates historical words or actions in the past is not necessarily relevant to what they believe today. I too, used to believe that scientists told the truth, that universities provided educations, that regulatory agencies regulated big business...and of course, that doctors and hospitals cared about our health. I changed. Nicole Shanahan can change too. We all wake up at different times in our journey. People in their silos will look at her history and say, no, no, no, but they are not change makers...they are tribalists for the most part. This is the time for radical change.

Expand full comment

I agree - people change. Giver her a chance. Sadly, in American politics no-one will win without money and connections. She provides that. She is also spot on about health issues.

I found it interesting how many nah-sayers replied negativly. I wonder how many of those are real, how many are bots, how many are deliberatly planted?

No candidate is ideal - but Kennedy is by far the best option America has atm.

Biden and the Democrats are horrible. Trump will divide the country even more and will go on a personal revenge mission while still firmly in the vax camp and big business camp (simply using his blind followers),too inexperienced to fight big pharma and deep state.

He tried, he had his chance, he failed. They played him. Why would he deserve a second chance?

Kennedy fought deep state all his life and has a proven track record on this.

There is no way, Biden survives another election year with any dignity.

No other democratic candidates are as good as Kennedy.

You never know - if the polls show that the Democrats lose to Trump, maybe they re-negiate with Kennedy as the official candidate. Stranger things have happened in politics.

Strategically, to lean more left is the right move from Kennedy. The core Trump voters are too fanatic to switch sides, no matter what. They rather go down with Trump than vote for anyone else.

But there must be millions of embarrassed intelligent Democrats waking up from the woke nightmare.

For them, Nicole is a great choice - mirroring their own journey from hard-left back to more moderate democratic positions.

I think it is a smart move by Kennedy.

You don't want a running mate that inspires the same people than yourself if you want more votes. You either go left or right from your own position. Going left is the logical direction because the left is much more vulnerable than the right.

Very well said, thank you. This is the first comment that did not sound like a bot or a hater, and the only one with more data than vitriol.

Indeed the uniparty has to go. And the billionaires will are be happier as they begin to feel integrated into society. It may take them awhile. Comupance usually does. Vast wealth is as much the cause of greed and fear as it is the result. And mother nature will swing the balance as we learn to get out of her way and follow her lead. Don't you think?

Expand full comment

I think your mention of mother nature is spot on. Both RFK jr and Nicole Shanahan appear to share the same vision and deference to nature (as we should). They recognize that we as a society have veered far away from nature in pursuit of greed and power. Our children, as canaries in the coal mine, are paying the price now, but our entire society is suffering from this war on nature. Not because those in power don't enjoy nature...but because nature can't be patented and monetized.

There is no greater transformation that occurs than that which happens to a mom who finds out her child is suffering from a chronic illness due to environmental factors. Mothers will do anything they can to try and find out what happened to their child and how to heal them. Even pay out of network doctor fees for functional medicine doctors to ascertain root causes.

Once you go down all those rabbit holes, you can't go back and unknow what you've learned. There are few things more profound than finding out your insurance network doctor will never even do the necessary tests needed to heal your child (because that might reveal a root environmental cause and we can't have that). It appears Nicole went down the functional medicine rabbit hole, the non-network doctors that are allowed to tell the truth, don't take insurance, order the appropriate lab tests show root causes, and then provide actual remedies that can work (not pharmaceutical medicines).

Once you go down that rabbit hole, your entire world view changes. You think, if they are willing to sacrifice our children and look the other way, what else would they be willing to do? It's a hard pill to swallow. I think she had a close friend with a similar journey who led her to more independent sources of information.

The thing is, once you look at the incentive structure of the medical system; the medical schools, the medical journals, the universities, the insurance companies, the regulatory agencies, the pharmaceutical companies, et. al. you are forever changed. There is no going back. You then question everything. I think this happened to Nicole...

When it comes to the health of your child, Democrat or Republican tribalism, is not relevant. Although she talked about many different issues in her speech, it is through the lense of this environmental toxicity and corporate corruption that she views most of the problems we face.
