FOX agreed to and or decided that Tucker Carlson’s opinions had to be silenced. The fact that the majority of those opinions were factually true speaks frightening volumes to the Murdoch Family agreeing to cancel Carlson to retain their “membership” in the corporate owned main stream media. So their once being the sole shining beacon of truth is forever dimmed in my book. And their many other program hosts and commentators who for certain agreed with Carlson’s content now know they must not “air” those views.

Great job of connecting the dots and following the money. Tucker never went wobbly. In fact, he seemed to get more pissed off and braver with every monologue and contrarian guest he booked. Eventually, BlackRock and Vanguard said, "this guy has to go."
At least they didn't assassinate him on live TV (which is what happened in the prescient movie "Network.")
The current conspiracy theory is that the establishment couldn't afford to have Tucker on until after the 2024 election. No one knows what type of contract he has, but it is one possibility that Fox will continue to pay him off while he is not allowed to do another show on another network. But it is indeed funny that they let him go one day before Joe announced that he will run for reelection.
You know what would be hilarious? If those around his former time slot, namely Watters, Hannity and Ingraham, would quit and together with Tucker start their own news network. That would be a nice boomerang for Fox. But ain't gonna happen.
All the the reasons you mentioned plus "they" don't want to give RFK, Jr. a MSM platform. Too many people will become aware of a new and real candidate. And of course, the DNC just announced their "no debates for the primaries" policy. If that doesn't wake the sleepers, I don't know what will.
