I agree with some of this, however the Jan 6 thing included tons of peaceful activity, with a pocket of disturbance that was orchestrated by the Feds. Trump’s pro-shot activism and the lack of action for the Jan 6 political prisoners, turned me off. He should’ve set up a foundation for those people, so they could get proper legal help. Also, the foundation could’ve exposed the numerous constitutional violations occurring to the accused, which concerns all of us. That event set the precedent for Gitmo-ing ordinary citizens, and casting anyone thought of as a “wrong thinker” as a domestic terrorist, used to squelch the first amendment and enhance warrantless surveillance. The Foundation could’ve also promoted the work done by journalists uncovering the Fed connection. That being said, I’ve never expected anything from Presidents, so I wasn’t a supporter until 2020, when it seemed like the only option to stop the direction we were heading in. Sadly, my lifelong slogan was finally proven true, right in my face, “If voting worked, it would be illegal”.
