I an not yet finished with the lengthy interview, to begin with, and there are numerous complex issues to be considered. Thus, you reaction, in addition to being impulsive and without rational items to which I could respond, is rather thoughtless---even childish. It is based purely on emotion and apparent animosity.

Putin may have felt Tucker was going to be more of the same, but as the interview went on he appeared to find Tucker refreshing. Their discussion about NS2 was fun, should be saved for posterity IMO. Their discussion of AI, of genetic research, of Musk was insightful, you could see Putin restraining himself from becoming too engaged in these topics.
What did come out of the discussion was Putin's brilliance, he clearly has a high intellect as well as a photographic memory. He did a masterful job of laying out the history of the conflict, the history of US/NATO role in the conflict and how the call to end the war has to be initiated by the US. Or more accurately the CIA.
Putin did appear to enjoy Tucker fishing for "color" on Biden, on Trump, as well as his suggesting the spontaneous release of the captive WSJ reporter. I think the reporter may have to wait until after the US election to be released, could be wrong.
What was most interesting to me was their discussion on how NATO needs to be able to declare they "won" to exit Ukraine. I don't see anything happening to end the war unless Putin decides to take Kiev or Trump wins the election. If Trump should for whatever reason not win, the war could well last for years. For no one on the US side apparently has the brains, not the real will to end it.
I think the entire event was fantastic and look forward to seeing its ratings go through the roof.
