A few short years ago, leaving a book like this in a middle school library would buy you a stretch in federal prison... once you got there, your fellow inmates would introduce you to the laboratory version of the book, just in case your reading comprehension wasn't up to snuff.

As a nation, we've lost our bloody minds. God save us all.

Good one. As a teacher, I would have been fired for showing a student a book like this. Instead, I was fired for helping my students graduate.

Wow. Sorry to hear that. I have a good friend who was forced to retire as a college professor after several decades for not towing the PC line. It was one of the last colleges to reject federal funding, but they finally got infiltrated, taken over, and "woke".

Thank you for this information.

I also have just found a flthy book in my Daughters small Private Girls School library here in NZ. It was available for any age group, and I am now going through the communication stage with the school. Very slow, strangely slow, to react and respond, which makes me realise now that there probably will be more there.

They told me it was a mistake. I believed them at first. But I know now that I need to go into the library as suggested, to look.

The Librarian signed herself she/her. Big Red flag. I’m still in shock.

Good work Vigiliant Fox. Tucker is brilliant.

I hope it was a mistake indeed, but I am afraid not...I think it is more likely they just don't care...at all. Good luck!

The book excerpt reads like pedo Stephen King wrote a sequel or prequel to IT.

That kid's really sharp for 11.

The only real solution to crappy government "education" is Universal School Choice, so all parents can afford to vote with their feet & wallets as we do with other products & services. The government model does not work and never can. Even Charter Schools are gvt-owned, "controlled" by political process instead of consumer choice & competition, rationed by lottery to the extent they're better than the alternative. They are no substitute for Universal School Choice, but are tolerated as a pressure relief valve to head off true choice. Parents don't have time to lobby bureaucrats & boards who don't have to listen. If you want a better car, you don't waste your life lobbying GM to make it. You go with another company that makes one you prefer. Competition. Same for millions of other products & services. Same model can and should apply to public education.

Truly disgusting smut that isn’t fit for anyone to read, let alone children!?!

Just because the Leftists like satanic smut & think it’s ok to be Pedo’s normal people do not!

I find it ironic that they want to burn & ban books that teach about our history & God & replace them with this evil degenerate smut!?!

Parents & grandparents PLEASE check your children’s school libraries often for smut & if you can PLEASE homeschool or private school to save our next generation?

Expand full comment

Parents can get involved. Just walk in one day on your lunch hour and ask to check the library books. If they refuse, go to the School Board.

Expand full comment

Yep. And they may or may not care what you say, may or may not change anything, may or may not have The Blue slam you face down on the floor and arrest you as a school board did to a father in Virginia who had the nerve to complain about his daughter being raped in the bathroom by a tranny they were protecting. With Universal School Choice you just say Adiós and choose a good school that is not run by groomers. No need to lobby anyone.

Many school districts post a library catalog online. You can even see the books available in a particular school. You likely will not find any of Laura Ingles Wilder books, but lots of Dork Diaries and Captain Underpants for elementary. Then there are those as are being discussed. Loopholes allow schools to provide porn.

And ban books and articles that expose the dangerous "vaccines" they push on kids, and cancel the authors, and fire teachers who don't kowtow.

It's frustrating that so many parents won't admit that this is happening, so do nothing about it. I think it's so terrible they don't even want to look into it so take comfort in their ignorance. And the kids pay the price.

This robs our children of the innocence they are born with and once it’s stolen you can NEVER get it back. That school district and any others should be sued and charges brought against the school board for allowing it.

Expand full comment

Yes. Stealing innocence in this way should be punishable as a crime.

Expand full comment

I think it is. It is mental abuse anyhow, and indeed quite severe. Specially when pictures added. As a child it is horror to look at.

Expand full comment

The world has become the devil’s playground because too many people have rejected their moral compass. Innocent children are their easiest targets, so it behooves people who know right from wrong to fight this evil.

It ended when we stopped teaching children manners and taught them they were “number 1” always.

Reminds me of the two sheriffs talking in No Country for Old Men.

"You know, if you'd a told me 20 years ago I'd see children walking the streets of our Texas towns with green hair and bones in their noses I just flat out wouldn't of believed you."

"Signs and wonders. But I think once you quit hearin' sir and ma'am, the rest is soon to follow."

Disgusting.

This is all caused by our biggest problem: CORRUPTION.

We must use technology to our advantage the same way the people in power are using it against us. We must use it against THEM.

It starts with a decentralized safe place for whistleblowers to go with evidence.

This didn't all happen by accident.

Yep. And even Trump betrayed Julian Assange. Without him Trump would never have been president. So much for Trump's loyalty - strictly a 1-way street.

Expand full comment

You sound angry. But why do you think that? I’ve never heard that Assange was even part of it.... we can’t know. I just don’t think we can know. And may never know.

Expand full comment

Nice technique. Start with ad hominem. Telling others what "we" can never know. You sound like you're projecting. Speak for yourself.

Trump "lost" the popular vote, but the Dems were overconfident, didn't steal enough votes. Had one or two states flipped, he would've "lost". Julian Assange's dump on Hillary was huge. Had he not done it, she would've been in the White House.

That you can't see the obvious is not my problem.

"The issue raised here, for many parents, has nothing to do with LGBTQ content."

That's the problem: It DOES.

When you have a group of people who derive their identity from their proclivity to engage in unnatural, perverted sex, like it of not, that identity will taint every single thing that they touch.

Also many of these people are in the school system EXACTLY so that they can have access to impressionable young minds. It's called "grooming" in case you haven't noticed.

Some of us tried to warn people that normalizing sodomite behaviors and putting a veneer of "respectability" in it, through sham "marriages" and some-such was the thin edge of the wedge and was going to lead to EXACTLY this outcome. This was entirely predictable.

Expand full comment

Except, of course, that this is not in any way representative of LGBTQ folks in general. But thanks to a few bad apples here and there, we unfortunately get some degree of ostension (or pseudo-ostension?) of one of the most vicious calumnies leveled against LGBTQ folks, namely the old canard that they inherently recruit and corrupt children en masse.

Baby, meet bathwater. Try again.

So...what did the Raymond School Board decide to do about smut in the school libraries? I missed that part. Did they remove those books? Hopefully the sanitizing light of Tucker Carlson got those books out of the library as well as the librarian.

How can it be Inappropriate and illegal for minors outside but not inside a school entrusted with kids’ care?

Because the wackjobs found a loophole and threw our kids through it. Secretly, sneakily. And under the evil guise of Education.

Like the fake poison jabs, its the marxists’ way of subverting all that once remained good and valuable in the west.

That’s what nooses are for.
