A methods paper for allegedly “detecting SARS-CoV-2 in clinical samples” was published inside 48h of submitting the first version of the manuscript. Peer review here was without any question fraudulent.
I was honoured to become an author, along with Clare Craig, on a systematic review of this methods paper. I did make small contributions to it because, though not being a PCR expert, I had hired many people who are & learned much about its power & limitations.
