We listened to the whole thing. It got a lot better after the first hour. Trump needs warm up time to get past his hyperbole banter that he always starts off with, but once they got more into substance it was really good.

They should do a few more of these together before the election - keep the American people informed about Trump because the MSM is not giving him equally fair coverage that they are giving Harris.

I thought it was ridiculous that Harris complained that the owner of the largest social media gave Trump airtime, and others who insinuated it was election interference or something like that. As if MSM hasn’t been doing that for her for the past month??? God they just can’t stand not having control over the narrative and not controlling what you can hear.

I love that Musk just gave us a chance to listen to an unscripted conversation with a candidate. No one else would do that for Trump.

Each time Trump’s scheduled to speak, I first pray. Plead with God… Promise to change my ways.. Right my wrongs…I’m only asking for one small favor…

Apparently, the Almighty has had enough of me. Because Trump continues to launch into puerile nicknames, ad hominem attacks, re-airs his grievances and doubles down on petty insults. It’s terribly frustrating and depressing. He’s either not listening or he just doesn’t care. His most ardent supporters, the sycophants who have continued to lionize him and rationalize his behavior are speaking out. When Hannity, Greg Kelly, Laura Ingraham, Peter Navarro, Michael Savage, Ric Grenell,Huckabee and voices of reason, Tyrus,VDH,Megyn Kelly, Patrick Bet-David, Rob Schmitt, Dennis Prager, Greta Van Sustern, Megyn Kelly, Pete Navarro,Joe Rogan, Kash Patel, Bartiromo, Vivek, Jo Rogan, David Horowitz, Douglas Murray, Harris Faulkner, Monica Crowley, KT McFarland and Tulsi ( who he should have named VP) among them are telling him to stop… one might think they’re right.

The low IQ , physical appearance, mental faculties, and incompetence stuff isn’t cutting it. Instead, , becoming self reflective.

And it’s going to cost not just him, but all of us, the presidency, down ballot votes and our future as a sovereign nation. My husband is convinced he’s deliberately throwing the election. I’m not so sure he’s wrong.

Expand full comment

I understand your sentiments, I really do, and agree, but … because this is too important to all of us, the down ballot votes, and our entire nation, I think we must start to support him fully and highlight why he will be best for the presidency out of who we have to choose from. It’s time for us to stop publicly wringing our hands over his less than well-groomed manners and disposition and start to openly praise him for all his good qualities. He DOES have many. People freak out over the insults about him and it could actually sway them to stupidly vote for Harris out of fear of voting for the less groomed, mouthy, arrogant one. How silly that they would think those qualities are worse than the qualities Harris and Walz bring to the table. Precisely because of how important this election is we must stop spotlighting his negative aspects that won’t make a darn bit of difference to his governance or policies. He shines a light on his negatives enough all on his own, he doesn’t need us to do it more. We have too many shallow people in this nation today that judge and vote based on appearances. This close to the election we must do everything we can to lift him up and help his appearance by spotlighting what he brings to the table and how it is so incredibly valuable. If the Left can do it for Harris who isn’t qualified to lead anyone or anything, why can’t we do it for our candidate who IS qualified enough to save our country??

I think Trump’s plain speech makes him more relatable to the common man and woman. He doesn’t need to impress the “academics” and “elites.”

I used to think the same, but his combativeness, slurs, rants, nicknames and rambling is old and out of control. It’s exhausting and he looks old, making him appear stuck in the past. The hair is worse. It was humorous and signature in 2016, but now he’s like an old game show host or Vegas show person- Soupy Sales, Wayne Newton, Liberace…it’s not cool . It’s embarassing and distracting. I love Javier Milei. The Elvis sideburns- definitely signature, his clothes. But when he stands before the WEF in a perfectly cut subdued suit and eviscerated the bastards so eloquently.. wow! His eyes twinkle. He’s also at least 20 years younger than Trump. And he knows when to reel it in.. and go wild. He’s also very much in touch. For a man to run on a Libertarian Austrian economics policy and win over the youth.. in a leftist, socialist nation.. one needs to be culturally connected. Trump seems to have lost touch. Which is nothing new for the GOP and that’s the problem. Now it’s the country music, , swayin’ prayin” and preach in’. He should take a cue from Elon and the under 60 GOP might do well to get Democrat stylists. Use Democrat ad agencies and coaches. They understand the power of optics ,presentation, speech, … Why does Trump wear the same suit and red tie uniform at his rallies, interviews.. why not something more casual and relaxed? It would make him appear less overbearing. If he appears relaxed , it will better translate.

I don’t know. There’s no getting through. I’ll definitely vote R, but I just can’t ratchet up enthusiasm when my stomach’s in a knot my hands are ballled into fists with crossed fingers and I’m praying that he’s not going to fuck up. He really needs to take this seriously. He needs to listen to sane voices begging him to shift gears and focus and also get his ass into minority communities and reach it to youth, Dems, Independents , LGBT. There’s the Log Cabin faction . Use them as surrogates . Prove it’s a party for everybody. Amber Rose was the best. Adorable , warm, hip. She stole the show and Van Jones said he was worried .She has a massive following. Tough if the old Guard has its pull ups in a wad. Nobody cares what they think. The whole Convention audience fell in love with her she won over even the most skeptical. According to what SenateAnon wrote in 2017, almost everyone Trump could have chosen was compromised/blackmailed. Here's an excerpt:

"I’m a high level staffer for a US Senator. Both parties are trying to get Trump to bend the knee, and he still refuses. Pence is a traitor, so is Paul Ryan, and Trump has no one to help him drain the swamp. It’s high time someone broke ranks and told you what’s really going on in DC. Ask questions and I may answer.

(Pence dirty?) His associates run pedophile rings. Indiana is the headquarters of several of these blackmail rings.

The “House Arrest” stuff? Trump is playing games with them. He wants them to think he is isolated and depressed. Reality is, he knows the whole city is dirty and he has no allies.

Pence made him take out Flynn, because Flynn knew about the pedophile rings. Some of the others, like Bannon, were blackmailed. He had no choice.

Yes. The US created ISIS. During Obama’s time, the Generals (including Flynn) helped the Russians stop them. Trump has let the Russians finish ISIS off. Israel is trying to save them.

They’re trying to push Trump into fighting North Korea. CFR has wanted to reunify the peninsula for years. China is the next host for the globalists’ disease.

He was going to make Flynn the VP. The cucks said they would go to war, and Trump wasn’t ready to unsheath the knife and backstab all the traitors.

Don’t know about the porno.

My senator is blackmailed and can’t do anything. Honestly, the blackmail isn’t that bad, but he’s convinced he’d be run out of town if it was ever revealed, so he just does whatever his handlers tell him.

Yes, Mossad was in on 9/11. So were the Saudis, and they were funded by the British. So were the cucks, like Bush Sr. and Cheney. All the cucks are closet Anglophiles.

Indianapolis is the head, but they do all kinds of stuff. They give hookers to influential people at the Indiana casinos, and then have cameras in their hotel room. That goes on all over the country.

Leaders of the secret societies. They control everything.

Any convention of the states would be controlled. You have to take down the blackmail rings to be free."

Believe me, I’m trying. I’m venting because it’s friendly turf, but to beat these two frauds,it takes the right opposition and I’m not seeing it.Also, he ceded his Senate seat. That bugs the hell out of me with Trump’s picks. He should keep the seated members in place. Trump, the GOP, but for a few, fell right into the Trump/ Biden debate trap. Surprisingly, my husband didn’t. He pegged it right away. The debate was rigged for Biden to lose bigtime. It was the only way to get him out. If Trump looked good, There would be no way to keep Biden. Trump would shred him and they’d get crushed down. ballot. My husband said, “ Gail, it was too convenient. The media turned on him in unison instead of finding ways to make it about Trump. What made it more bizarre? Erin Burnett blurting out,” How could this happen? He’s been coached for six days!”, Mike Wallace chimed in,”No, you’re wrong. It’s been 7 days” and then Burnett lamented,” He knew what we were going to ask!”.

The fact none of them were alarmed by the comment cemented it. And as usual , The GOP/RNC for God knows what reason ignored it. Trump too , who picks fights with Jimmy Kimmel over who knows what nonsense on Truth Social in all caps, calling him a loser and dumb as a dog. Why? Really. What good comes from that? And they got too cocky, believing Joe and Kamala would stay. And that’s when he blew it. Announces Vance. Savage, Dersh, The pollsters on the right, Dick Morris David Schoen, Mark Penn- who are decent people all said the same thing. Trump handed the Dems a Hail Mary on a gold platter. They were right. I cried when Vance was announced. I didn’t feel great about Trump’s “ short list” . I thought the only one who might bring something to the mix was Byron Donalds. He’s direct, strong, but has empathy . Genuine empathy, but not a patsy. Tim Scott sounds like a televangelist and looks like a caricature doing his preaching. Burghum is very nice, a good governor, but ND is a monocultural, sparsely populated state and he signed an abortion ban. He would be eviscerated. I’ve no idea where Tom Cotton came from.Elyse Stefanik is a wonderful congressional member and very proactive, but not enough of a standout and J thought JD Vance was a filler. Vivek is great, but perhaps too provocative

I didn’t like his raising the vote eligibility to age 25. I had been married 3 years and had my first child by 25. and a career . And voted for Reagan even as a liberal Dem. I knew what. I was voting for, even though I wasn’t head over heels for Reagan. My husband was, but he didn’t influence me. That said, I’d prefer 21, but we send teenagers to fight foreign wars.

The buzz was that Trump was going to surprise everybody with Tulsi. Instead, he ran over the spoiler and with Thiel’, Tucker and Jr, spoiled the campaign.

Note that Thiel, Stefanik, and Cotton are WEF STILL ditto Nikki, Ivanka Rick Scott,,Wray, Kadlek-and silent. Elon was and has been vocal, but Thiel has the added Bilderberg bonanza But Vivek and Tulsi have been picked apart and were never WEFfers. Vivek sued and won.

Right? What we need is another George Bush or two, perhaps a Mitt Romney or a McCain who wouldn't be mean to American Pravda or the left's prosecutors and judges and Stasi forces. If only Trump was like Mitt who allowed people to believe that he transported his dog on top of his car because he didn't want to appear to be mean to the people who lied about that...

And how could Trump be so mean when talking about the newcomers who just want to have a 4-star hotel to live in, the colorful people in silly costumes who just want to read about their fetishes to our children, and the men and boys who feel more comfortable competing against women and girls and sharing their private spaces.

Churchill agreed with you when he said:

"We shall go on to the end, we shall become self-reflective in France,

we shall become self-reflective on the seas and oceans,

we shall become self-reflective with growing confidence and growing strength in the air,

we shall defend our Island by becoming self-reflective, whatever the cost may be,

we shall become self-reflective on the beaches,

we shall become self-reflective on the landing grounds,

we shall become self-reflective in the fields and in the streets,

we shall become self-reflective in the hills"

Perhaps the Almighty can't afford to send more self-reflective leaders to coddle your sensitivity...
