The table had been set by the Disneyland Measles media hype event. (Gauging by what we have learned during Covid is there any increase in the suspicion that that was a staged event?). Mary was speaking in front of a committee chaired by Hannah-Beth Jackson and Oh Boy was Ms. Jackson rude and condescending! She used every dirty trick in the book to shut down Mary's testimony. I was disgusted. It really underscored my distrust in the system. Our elected public servants seem to be serving another interest.

None of them actually care a damn about any of us, 95% of them are there to line their own pockets and set themselves up with cushy jobs after they finish in politics. The injury compensation schemes are very difficult for the average person to navigate, and only cover a very narrow selection of health issues.
