Then, I read the relevant statute in their states, and sent letters to AGs in states whose reckless endangerment or similar statute could fit, thinking they'd be more likely to consider this. The exception is Utah, my home state. I sent that letter after reading the Jablonowski & Hooker article referred to in footnote 1 in the letters, but before reading the petition, or before using the petition signer list occurred to me, or however that went. Utah's AG also signed the petition.

You can right click on the pages of my letter posted in daily clout, then copy image, then paste into a Word document, page by page for the three pages, then print it and mail it with the cover letter below or something like it. I’m a big believer in mailing something like this on paper, in an envelope, with a stamp, since I think a lot of folks me included are digitally overloaded and could use a digital detox, and there’s something about pulling back and looking at paper that makes it easier reading, easier to hand to someone in the chair to them in the meeting, less easy to dismiss and click to the next thing. Plus, call me crazy, but I think God/the universe/the Tao/the Force/and the big woo woo to boot, etc., responds to the extra effort, for those who believe in that kind of thing, which I do, also lob a little metaphorical magic prayer dust on the situation and involved players whey you type their names, regardless if they end up acting or not. The articles cited in the letter don’t need to be sent, because inclined letter recipients will find them. If ever asked where you got the idea, tell the truth. I think folks with our general perspective understand the value of thinking small, down at the mustard seed level, one mailed letter at a time (you know, eventually by all 70,000,000 of us in the US).
