It’s only anecdotal, but in my experience with lawyers and judges (my family includes both), there has been no indication of bribery or that type of corruption. That field, like many others, is a close knit community. A judge accepting bribes would be an open secret, with everyone talking about it.
Eventually word would reach the proper authorities, proof gathered, and said judge would be out on his ass....with no law license or way to make a living and reputation destroyed.
That is how it would work for the district and circuit courts, I can’t vouch for the Federal Courts...

I am glad this Grand Jury will do its work, but it will not be allowed to go wherever it wants to go. It will not go upstream into the Deep State and into imperial supra national structures. If this is an honest effort to start with, they will infiltrate and subvert it from the inside and ignore it or demonize it from outside. We don’t have a critical mass of people demanding justice.
